    Quantum Yield Measurement of Silver Nanofluids Prepared Using Magnifera Indica

  • Abstract

    Green synthesis is an ecofriendly technique for the synthesis of nanoparticles. In the present study well dispersed silver nanoparticle was prepared using Mangifera Indica leaf. The UV-Vis absorption spectrum of silver nanoparticle gave surface plasmon resonace at ~ 438 nm. The quantum yield of Rhodamine 6G with the prepared silver nanoparticles was measured using dual beam thermal lens technique. The quantum yield decreases with increase in concentration of the nanoparticles.
